Fiona Fairybread and the Colour Red

(9 customer reviews)

From her shoes to her bed, Fiona Fairybread just loves the colour red! Her cat Scarlett loves to hide. How many times can you find her?

Fiona Fairy Bread is the glamorous character in this series. She has a pet cat called Scarlet who loves to hide around Fiona’s house. Have fun finding where Scarlet is hiding on each page while showing your child Fiona’s world of red.

This book is my 2 year old grandson’s favourite book. My 4 year old granddaughter loves it too. They love to find the cricket on every page and talk lots about all the red things, stimulating conversation about the colour red and rhyming words. Great book Cheryl!

Fiona Fairy read and the colour red, is such a fun book with wonderful illustrations. It’s such a great book I have read to my grandchildren on so many occasions.
I have all of Cheryl’s books on colour, and as a retired earlly learning educator, I feel that these books would be wonderful tool to use, to help young children learn colours. Using the character Fiona with red hair, and her favourite colour being red, was a great idea to tradition the colour red into the book.
    Well done Cheryl. Great book.

Lucy Licorice chew and the colour blue is my grandson’s favourite book in the series of colour, from Cheryl Ann Knights.
He is only a baby, but he is really drawn to the colour blue in this book.
The illustrations are large and the words are simple enough to hold his attention.
Such a fun book, thanks Cheryl.

My daughter and I love all of your books! Fiona Fairybread and the colour Red is her favourite. When I ask why she loves this one the best; my favourite colour is red Mum and it’s got a cat in it. The books are a joy to read, my daughter loves the rhymes. The artwork in all the books are bright and engaging. The books make learning colours for little ones fun and easy.

      In reply to Alex McKiernan.
Thanks for your lovely review Alex. My grandchild loves Fiona Fairybread too! Especially looking for Scarlet the cat as she hides on each page. Did you notice James Jellybean has a cameo in this book? He is crossing the road as Fiona is waiting at the lights.
